Words This Week-3

Snigdha gave a nice suggestion to frame sentences with the words. Don’t have much time now, will surely try it next time!!!

1. Reticent- not revealing one’s thoughts or feelings readily.
2. Efficacy- the ability to produce an intended result.
3. Recalcitrant- unwilling to cooperate, disobedient.
4. Tractable- easy to control or influence, (of a situation) easy to deal with.
5. Disparaging- speak of something or someone as being worthless.
6. Euphemism- a less direct word used in place of something harsh or blunt.
7. Blasphemous- irreverent about God or sacred things.
