Murphy’s Law
I have been hearing a lot of Murphy’s Law of late, and everyone seems to have his/her own version or connotation of it. So i looked it up on Wikipedia, and this is what i got:
Murphy’s Law states that “Things will go wrong in any given situation, if you give them a chance. ” A more popular version goes “Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, and at the worst possible time.”
A friend of mine, Jami Amrit gave his own cheeky version of this- “If you happen to leave any chapter while preparing for an exam, thinking that it wont possibly come in the exam, then it definitely will appear in the paper.” And every student, irrespective of his/her stream, would have faced this situation in their exams, and some more often than others!!!
